What I'm working on now

I have an exhibition of 48 paintings and one crazy "Watch this space..." item hanging at the Gordon Library (it is a BIG library) from June to the end of August 2010, called "Kerry Thompson - And now for something completely different...". There has been lovely feedback! Currently I have 10 pieces hanging at the Gordon branch of Westpac Bank, several pieces in Contours of Hair, and several in the Little Gem Cafe, all in Gordon. It has been lovely to have local businesses offer to hang my paintings; a little community seems to be growing. Also, Gallery 41 in Woolloomooloo (gallery district of Sydney) has two!

My book of cartoons is still looking for a publisher...

!!!Duncan Ball's "My Sister Has a Big Black Beard"...a ridiculous book of poetry for kids which I illustrated...is in the shops and we have had some wonderful feedback. I haven't started a new book yet because I am madly painting and painting. It is an exciting new direction and I am learning the business side as well as the painting and framing side.
